WACFest 2021 Artist Reflections: Alma Lahar

Updated: Jun 25

I really don't know what to say because it's so hard to put into words...words to try to convey the immense gravity of being physically present at the very first WACFest.

First of all, I got to drive there with THE Luke Mason. How crazy is that? I got see a lot of places in the U.S. that I've never been to before, and I met a lot of beautiful people on the road.

But at WACFest itself is where I experienced true beauty. The coming together of a community of people who met on the Internet, but who've come to know and love each other and their works over the last several years. I got to meet and perform for some of my real-life heroes! I felt as

if I had known these people for most of my life; it was the strangest feeling. It was so historical, that event, those moments... we literally gave a massive finger to the anti-White world. Even still, it wasn't about them. It was and always is about US. The genuine love for our people that was present there was actually difficult to say goodbye to. So many of us never wanted it to end, I wish you all could have been there to see it.

I've had some pretty powerful experiences before, but this was on a different level, and I'm still processing the beauty, depth and weight of it all.

Hail to The White Art Collective!
